The Comfort Inn & Suites in Lynchburg, Virginia served up "a little gratitude from the griddle" in honor of National Waffle Day.
The hotel provided a free waffle breakfast to members of the Campbell County Sherriff’s office on August 18 and August 22.
This waffle event was one of hundreds of similar Comfort brand waffle celebrations that are taking place from August 17th through August 24th coast to coast. As part of a nationwide campaign, called "Comfort Says Thanks", hotels are inviting service groups—such as first responders, teachers, and volunteers—to enjoy free breakfasts featuring the brand’s signature hot waffles to thank them for doing their part to help transform their communities for the better.
